CURTAIN CALLS IN ST. LOUIS
Scott Rolen just hit a three-run jack to give St. Louis an 8-4 lead heading into the top of the eight vs. Milwaukee. This post isn't about this specific game, it's about the fans in general at Busch Stadium...What is with all the curtain calls?

Seriously. Why does every homerun hit by a Cardinals player in St. Louis require a curtain call? It's completely lost it's meaning. It's gotten to the point like when you're at a concert and everybody chants for an encore. It's not even special now because everybody does it at every show all the time now. Maybe STATS Inc. can keep track of curtain calls in St. Louis. I wonder what the park factor for curtain calls in St. Louis is compared to a place like Montreal. I bet in St. Louis the "curtain call factor" is something like 240 and in Montreal it's probably around 40.
